「Road to Aichi-Nagoya 2026」was held!
AINAGOC held "Road to Aichi-Nagoya 2026" programme as First-edition at the Asian Para Games with APC and JPC.
AINAGOC, Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), Japanese Paralympic Committee (JPC), and the host cities, organized "Road to Aichi-Nagoya 2026."
This project aimed at further promoting parasports in Asian countries, was implemented for the first time at the Asian Para Games.
【KEY CONCEPTS】
1. Empowering Coaching Development for Small NPCs:
We focus on building a solid coaching foundation for emerging sporting nations. Participants are encouraged to refine practical techniques and become pioneers, establishing sustainable systems to nurture the next generation of athletes in their respective NFs and NPCs.
2. Regional Development through Knowledge Sharing:
This camp acts as a catalyst for para-sports growth across Asia. By sharing experiences and applying new methods, you play a vital role in the long-term development of the sport within your regions.
3. Building Sustainable Professional Network:
Despite language barriers, we aim to create a future supportive community. This network enables instructors and peers to continue exchanging ideas and solving challenges together long after the camp ends.

Coaching seminars (lectures and practical training) by instructors from NF in Japan
Sports: Para-athletics and Para-table tennis
Participants: total of 15 coaches and athletes from the National Paralympic Committees (NPC) of 5 Asian countries

(1) Para-athletics:
Tajikistan (Central Asia), Lao (Southeast Asia)
(2) Para-table tennis
Kyrgyz (Central Asia), Nepal (South Asia), Mongolia (East Asia)
8. Others
Athletes and coaches from five NPCs visited schools in Aichi-Nagoya area and interacted with children. Through their school visits, the athletes had the opportunity to reaffirm the significance of parasports and the power of creative problem-solving in sports and dairy life. They also helped to build excitement and momentum for the Games among the local children.
(1) Honami Elementary School, Nagoya
Athletes and coaches from Tajikistan and Lao with students discussed how they could make activities enjoyable for people with/without disabilities, using the themes of "recorder" and "jump rope" that they are currently working on in elementary school classes.
(2) Asahigaoka Junior High School, Toyota
Students, athletes and coaches from Kyrgyz, Nepal, and Mongolia thought how to enjoy sports together with people with disabilities, playing "para-table tennis" and "kendo (Japanese fencing)".
